I tried to collect and analyze information about engineering courses degrees and top colleges to study. I focused on kind of job you will be offered, average salary, best or leading companies and top institutes offering these courses and admission procedure.

India today published an article saying “Best engineering courses 2009”, but I think it was an article by some journalist or editor rather than an Engineer himself. Most of the courses they mentioned were never offered in India at B.Tech or M.Tech level for example Energy Engineering, Nuclear Engineering etc. This makes most of the courses mentioned in their article are irrelevant for B.Tech and M.Tech students of Indian region.

In this collection of posts I tried to cover the traditional engineering branches and give a brief introduction and give information about job prospects and industry and student trends instead of mentioning courses that we never heard when we go for engineering admissions.
