As I wrote in my earlier posts for M.Tech admissions 2015 that if you don’t get chance here you should try some good universities abroad. Few regular readers asked about possibility of admission to MS or PhD abroad on the basis of GATE results.
I found that National University of Singapore NUS and Nanyang Technological University (NTU) are offering MS and PhD programs on the basis of GATE results. I collect few details to help readers and they can also do further research if interested in studying in Singapore. Both the universities are highly reputed and offer degrees in all streams or fields of science and engineering.

These are two wonderful and top class universities in Asia. They also offer limited scholarships. The basic disadvantage for Indian students who scored well is that the tuition fee is too high and Singapore is an expensive place to live. This makes students to opt for IITs and NITs where education is almost free and you get ample scholarship.

Apply using GATE/GRE score. Go to their admission site and apply online. You will need good recommendation letters.
whether we have to clear any other exam like TOFEL along with GATE to get admission in NUS and NTU.

The above mentioned details is false not selected by gate score they select depend only on ug marks and acdamic performance and extra curricular activities…see the official details for more info…nus and nts is best university in asia…and world 5th rank…universities….like publish in journals and paper presentation….first no history of arrear is main factor to all universities…iisc bamgalore and some iit’s offer direct ph.d after completion of b.e /b.tech with gate score…in tamilnadu , iit madras and sastra university offers direct ph.d in engg after b.e/b.tech… by durairajan.,

Is it percentile or percent that NTU or NUS is looking for in GATE? In their website they have mentioned atleast 90 percent. SO do we have to acquire 90 marks out of 100 or 90 percentile?
